Thomas Edison

Thomas Alva Edison lit up the world with his invention of the electric light. Without him, the world might still be a dark place. However, the electric light was not his only invention. He also invented the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and over 1,200 other things. About every two weeks he created something new.

Thomas A. Edison was born in Milan, Ohio, on February 11, 1847. His family moved to Port Huron, Michigan, when he was seven years old. Surprisingly, he attended school for only two months. His mother, a former teacher, taught him a few things, but Thomas was mostly self-educated. His natural curiosity led him to start experimenting at a young age with electrical and mechanical things at home.

When he was 12 years old, he got his first job. He became a newsboy on a train that ran between Port Huron and Detroit. He set up a laboratory in a baggage care of the train so that he could continue his experiments in his spare time. Unfortunately, his first work experience did not end well. Thomas was fired when he accidentally set fire to the floor of the baggage car.

Thomas then worked for five years as a telegraph operator, but he continued to spend much of his time on the job conducting experiments. He got his first patent in 1868 for a vote recorder run by electricity. However, the vote recorder was not a success. In 1870, he sold another invention, a stock-ticker, for $40,000. A stock-ticker is a machine that automatically prints stock prices on a tape. He was then able to build his first shop in Newark, New Jersey.

Thomas Edison was totally deaf in one ear and hard of hearing in the other, but thought of his deafness as a blessing in many ways. It kept conversations short, so that he could have more time for work. He called himself a "two-shift man" because he worked 16 out of every 24 hours. Sometimes he worked so intensely that his wife had to remind him to sleep and eat.

Thomas Edison died at the age of 84 on October 18, 1931, at his estate in West Orange, New Jersey. He left numerous inventions that improved the quality of life all over the world.

Weekend Wonder !

I have a weekend of every week at perlis and I will do many things in weekend.For example, Cleansing my room, Washing my cloth, Shopping and Taking a bath.

Sometimes I will go to other city.If I go to other city, I will go to KL, Penang or some big citys. Because these citys are very flourish and things of these citys are very complete. But I do not often go because I do not like spend money to high carfare. After all, I am a poor student who is not base of economy.

When I were in Chia, generally, I would alway slugabed in my weeked. But sometimes I would play at my grandfather's home or my uncle's home. I can not go to other city becuse my city is surround by desert and I have to take train to other city. It needs many days.

I like to spend my weekend at my home. because I like sleep very much and I feel very ease. yes, very!

CULTURE

Culture is manifested in human artifacts and activities such as music, literature, lifestyle, food, painting and sculpture, theatre and film.

We should start talking about food culture， it reflects the different national habits and different way of thinking. China attached great importance to form, pay attention to "color, smell and taste", the Chinese cooking, the ever-changing style of food, specific to each of the dishes are very particular about color with the scent. The Europeans not attention in the color of the dishes, they pay attention to the intrinsic quality of the food. And seeing the differences about knife, fork and chopsticks, it not only brought about differences in eating habits, but also affect concept of the easterner and the western. The necessary outcome of knife and fork are buffet, and chopsticks are family members around a common table to dines. So the western let their young fend for themselves from an early age, their children were from home in adult life. But easterner depend on their parents for food and clothing.

In the arts of painting and sculpture, Chinese painting is a splash-ink freehand brushwork, the western oil painting about the human body and the ratio of optical principles. For example, the Chinese people show god can fly, then at the foot of fairy draw many clouds, to reflect fly. The westerners do not understand the abstract artistic expression of this approach, in the classic western themes of religious paintings, in order to explain the angels fly, they give those lovely angels draw a pair of wings. Because they only think of wings can fly.

The westerns very take a fancy to the independence of the individual. Taken care of people is often seen as weak. At give other to the ideas or suggestions, you can’t look down on his ability, and do not have to teach people how to do. Chinese people often give other to ideas and suggestions that concern. Dropping in Chinese friends and staffs is very easily. Asking people to visit each other, you would needn’t to be sure times to visit them without their consent seriously. Americans do not have this habit. You would in advance precisely to make an appointment when there is something going. The other side has not been promised, you drop in their house is impolite behavior.

People from many different cultures background, so cann't get together easier, must have diver of views. We must to knew and to respect each other`s cultures and custom earlier . According to understand the different culture can make a good relation to each other, and great advances have been made.

My Favor Animal

I feed many animals. For example, dog, rabbit, tortoise, chicken and fish. But my favoe animal is horse.Because horse looks very meek and strong.

In chinese ancient times, people often made afriend with horse. It not only can work, but also is means of transportation to people. There is a ancient once written <>. He used this way, it metaphor those people who is similar to horse at behavior.

Modern man living means of trans portation iscommon to car, but people do not forget horse. people can see horsemanship match. It denote horse has ability at parallel and concert. People are familiar with turf. It can prove horse's speed is very fast. Some rich men ride a horse in holiday.

Horse is alway indispensable animal and friend to us from past until now. I love it forever.

My Favor Sport

I often practice many sports which is beneficial to body. For example, run, football, swiming, skating, table tennis, basketball and so on. At them, my favor sport is playing basketball.

By playing basketball, you not only can grow your height, but also can increase your collective mind. It is a sport which many people like to playing and make many friend to you. You can give vent to depressed by play basketball, thus you will be easy.

In China, it has many basketball star. For example, YaoMing, YiJianLian, SunYue, WangWei and so on.They are both from CBA. Now some of them play basketball at NBA. I like watch NBA very much. Because its match is very wonderful and interesting to me.

When holiday, I like to play basketball with my friends. I believe you will,too.

Monkey King (SunWuKong)

China have many masterpiece . One of them is <> .It said that a monk from Tang Dynasty and his four prentice who are going to get to letions at west meet various of monster on way , but they are not afraid of difficulty and steep . Finally , they get to letions at west . howevery, Monkey King is the first prentice of that Tang Dynasty .

Monkey King's body is very hard and it can 71 chang . It once tumble palace of heaven and called itself to "QiTianDaShen".But now, it can grabmanster because it is chained to Tang's charm .It has many credlit to Tang get to litions.So it and tang set up deeply friendliness.

Some plot of <> was patted to move. Such as <>,<>,<>and so on. The most of these move main said Monkey King.<> which do not common was patted to teleplay at many places on the world.

Today, Monkey King not only stand for chinese masterpiece, but also have many fans from the world.

MY TOWN

My town is XingJiang of China.It's the same to KL which is very beautiful and have many high buildings.It has many bases and taxis.There are wide road to car run.There are many shops.They are cheep or expensive.

There are more people.Some people are mechanic and other people are difference worker.Everyone had working hard,so shrewd rival society.People in my town have many activities during their free time.For example,sing KTV, dance, hold party and so on.

I like food about my town.It's very nice.For example,kabob,stew and so on.My favor is fry rice-powder.If you are going to XingJiang,you could eat these foods.

My town changed over the last twenty years . It will more building with same to BeiJing and ShangHai.It will change boom.I expect.

My first trip

At 28 October 2008 to 30 October,I went to trip of Koala Lumps,Government Building and Bing Tong .I'm very happy!

It was 29 October in Koala Lumps,I joined to a party and we were song "Welcome to Beijing".It was successful.At night,I went to KL CC and saw the Keener.There were very beautiful.I was shopping of KL CC at 8 O'clock to 10 O'clock.

It was 30 October 2008.I went to back priers.On the way,I visited to the Government Building.There was a big lake and people of trip.They looked at very happy. Then I went to Bing Tong by the way.I went to shopping in sucop of Bing Tong. Finally,I went back the KKA.I felt very tied.

This is My first trip of Malasiya.Not only I feel very happy,but also I can more understand Malasiya!
